Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Construction & Planning:
- Review and approve plans, specifications, and budgets.
- Secure permits, approvals, and vendor compliance.
- Lead pre-construction meetings and subcontractor scope reviews.
Estimating & Procurement:
- Perform quantity takeoffs by trade.
- Track long-lead items and coordinate material deliveries.
- Identify critical path and mitigate delays.
Budget & Project Management:
- Monitor job costs, forecasts, and change orders.
- Provide client updates and respond to RFIs.
- Maintain schedules and key documentation.
Project Close-Out:
- Complete punch list and final walkthroughs.
- Deliver warranties, as-builts, and close-out documents.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of construction project management experience (residential preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and building codes.
- Proficiency with project management software (Buildertrend).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites as needed.
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based with site visits required.
